Dulwich Hill have remained at the top of the ladder on goal difference thanks to a 2-0 result over twelfth placed Macarthur Rams while Sydney University are still in second spot after they produced a 4-1 victory over Spirit FC who have tumbled from fourth to seventh.
Agood start from Uni with lots of pressure and a few early chances. After having a goal dissallowed from the corner from no:7 Columbian Cesar. 5 min later a great flick at near post from the corner by Braden Sorge and Lee Ramsden (CB) popped up at the back post to head home. A spell which then Sprit lifted and Uni seemed to take their foot off the pedal. It looked like the same could happen like last week when Uni suffered thier first loss of the season. This spell produced a goal for Spirit.
The second half was pretty much all Spirit who pressed well and retained possesion. Uni on the back foot then produced a goal on the break with a cut back from Clarky on the left which fell to none other than fast Eddie to bag his 11th of the season. After making a sub which proved vital for Dean and the Uni Huss (The Lebanese pocket rocket) produced a great finish from the edge of the box to make it 3-1 Uni. The wrap was completed by the flying machine Fast Eddie who was 20-80 to get to the ball before the keeper, some how he whent through the gears to nudge it over the keeper and took it too the goal line before getting on his knees to head home. Result Spirt 1-Uni 4
Goals: Eddie Carpenter 2 (season 12)
